Some 16,000 pounds of Rainbow Trout is being put into Cacuma Lake for fishing. About 4000 pounds arrived this week.

The lake is being stocked with some 16,000 pounds of Rainbow Trout, with the first 4,000 pounds arriving this week.

Fishing season just got a big boost on the Central Coast.

Efforts to stock Cachuma Lake with 16,000 pounds of Rainbow Trout are underway.

4,000 pounds of fish were added to the lake this week, It's a program involving the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Santa Barbara County.
