Would you believe...more rain? On and off rain possible for Tri-Counties through mid-week

KCLU
Rain is possible for the Tri-Counties from Tuesday afternoon into Thursday morning, but it's expected to be a milder system than our other recent ones.

Storm much milder than past systems

Don’t let the sunshine during the last few days fool you. Yet more rain is on the way for the Tri-Counties.

A storm is working its way towards us from the Gulf of Alaska. It’s not as big as the recent series of storms, but we could get one to two inches of rain.

Look for rain starting Tuesday afternoon on the Central Coast, and then working its way to the South Coast Tuesday evening. We could see a half inch to an inch of rain in the region, with most of it coming between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.

Then, instability in the wake of the system could create showers Wednesday afternoon and evening into Thursday morning.

There are no flood warnings or watches at this point for the Tri-Counties.
