He may be pretty busy in his workshop this time of year but he's responding to letters mailed to him via a special red mailbox.

Yes, he has a lot to do, what with making a list and checking it twice, but for kids in Camarillo writing to Santa Claus this holiday season, there’s a way he’s guaranteed to write back.

Kids can drop off their letters at a giant red mailbox at Pleasant Valley Recreation and Parks offices and they will receive a reply, explained Caitlyn Simber-Clickener from Pleasant Valley Recreation and Parks.

"The deadline is December 12th which gives Santa and the elves time to sort through the letters and respond back," said Simber-Clickener.

The mailbox is located at 1605 E Burnley St. Camarillo, CA 93010. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

And if you can’t get to the mailbox, Santa also accepts emails: sclaus@pvrpd.org and make sure to include your name.

Children can download a letter template to fill out and mail to Santa. Be sure to include your name and address so Santa can reply, and no postage stamps are necessary.

Santa will make appearances at Santa's Village after the Parade on December 10, if you'd like to hand your letter to him in person.
