Duo pleads guilty to charges they chased down and stabbed to death man in South Coast parking garage

Two Ventura County men are headed to prison after entering guilty please to charges they chased down, and stabbed to death someone in a Ventura parking structure.

The two Ventura men will get 15-years-to-life prison sentences.

Two South Coast men are heading to prison for a brutal gang-related killing.

Jose Acevedo and Andy Diaz pled guilty to second degree murder charges for the December, 2017 slaying of Joseph Cruz. Prosecutors say the two men chased down the victim in a Ventura parking garage, and stabbed him to death.

As a result of the pleas, the two Ventura men will receive 15-years-to-life sentences.
