Three people were injured when a school bus overturned in Ventura County Friday afternoon.
The accident happened just after 3 p.m. on South Mountain Road, near Balcom Road in Santa Paula. There were 11 people on the Santa Paula School District bus, including nine students, a coach, and the driver. The CHP is trying to determine what happened, but the bus ended up on its side in a ditch next to the shoulder of the rural road.
Ventura County Fire Department officials say the driver, and two students were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
