New COVID-19 relief help being offered to some artists, arts organizations in Ventura County

Ventura County is offering grants to help some in the arts community hard hit by the pandemic.

Application window open for $2,500 grants.

There’s some new help available for some artists, and non-profit arts groups in Ventura County impacted by the pandemic.

The county is offering some microbusiness COVID-19 relief grants. Artists, arts businesses or arts non-profits in the county that earned $50,000 or less in 2019 may be eligible for aid.

The county is giving those who are qualified $2,500 business assistance grants.

The application window is open now through April 12. Grants will be awarded until the fund is exhausted.
