Two magnitude 2.8 quakes and one 2.6 earthquake hit Ojai Valley Monday night.

Parts of Ventura County have been rocked by yet another earthquake swarm.

About 20 quakes have occurred in the last 24 hours, with most of them centered just west of Ojai.

The biggest were two quakes Monday night, both magnitude 2.8’s which occurred at 9:00 and 9:06 p.m. There was a 2.6 at 10:34 p.m.

Most of the quakes were too small to be felt outside of the Ojai Valley area.

Last Saturday night, there was a magnitude 4.0 quake outside of Ojai which was felt by some people as far away as Santa Barbara and Orange Counties.

The central part of Ventura County has been hit by dozens of small quakes since mid-February, with most of them centered between Santa Paula and Ojai. There have been no reports of injuries, or damage from any of the quakes.
