One person is dead following a house fire in Ventura County.
The blaze was reported at around 5:30 Monday night at a home on the 900 block of Talbert Avenue in Simi Valley. Firefighters knocked down the blaze in about a half hour. They found a body in the home.
There’s no word yet on the cause of the death, or the circumstances surrounding the blaze.
