Epicenter near Santa Barbara

Did you feel it? A small earthquake rattled parts of the Central and South Coasts.

The magnitude 3.4 quake occurred at 2:12 Wednesday afternoon. The epicenter was in the ocean about six miles southeast of Santa Barbara.

There are no reports of injuries, or damage. There are a number of faults which could potentially trigger a quake in the Santa Barbara Channel.
