Ventura County Man Faces Murder Charge For Death Of County Jail Inmate

A man in the Ventura County Jail for violating parole is now facing a murder charge.

Daniel Fuller is accused of fatally beating Jeffrey Kibler at the County’s Pre-Trial Detention Facility September 11th. Kibler was taken to a hospital after complaining of medical issues, but he died a few hours later.

An autopsy showed the 53 year old Ventura man died from injuries suffered in an attack. Jail staff and Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of the 34 year old Ventura man.

Fuller was arrested on a second degree murder charge, and remains in jail in lieu of two million dollars bail.
