Storm System On The Way For Central, South Coasts; Heavy Rain Possible At Times

Enjoy the break in the wet weather we’re getting, because it won’t last long. A storm system is headed towards the Central and South Coasts, one which could bring heavy rain at times from Tuesday night into Thursday.

Initial estimates are for one to two inches of rain on the coast and inland, with up to four inches in the mountains.

But, meteorologists aren’t predicting intense hourly rainfall rates which could trigger mudslides, or debris flows in brush fire burn zones. At this point, there are no watches or warnings for evacuations.
