Storm System Headed For Central, South Coasts; No Problems Expected In Brush Fire Burn Zones

A storm system is headed for the Central and South Coasts, but only light rainfall is now predicted.

An approaching upper level low in the Pacific could create the chance of rainfall for the region Tuesday through Thursday.  But, public safety officials monitoring the storm say they don't expect there to be flooding issues in the region's brush fire burn zones.

Rainfall amounts are predicted to be in the quarter to three quarter of an inch range.  Most of the rainfall is expected to come on Wednesday. Meteorologists say high temperatures will also drop ten degrees or more by mid-week.
