Ventura County's District Attorney says child welfare workers should be praised, instead of criticized for their handling of a long running sexual abuse case. KCLU's Lance Orozco reports that D.A. Greg Totten released information about the case which showed they tried to pursue the multiple reports, even though the victim and her mother were denying abuse had occured.
