Supporters call it a common sense idea to better protect Ventura County's billions of dollars in savings, and investments. But, a proposal to establish qualifications to run for the Ventura County Treasurer-Tax Collector's office has drawn angry responses from opponents, as well as from a local assemblywoman whose plans to run for the post have been derailed. KCLU's Lance Orozco has the story.
