Mind & Supermind presents Maria Teresa Valenzuela in a lecture entitled The Earth's Evolving Consciousness: Sacred Medicine Plants & Ancient Prophecies.
Maria Teresa Valenzuela is an indigenous traditional healer and spiritual teacher who comes from a lineage of shamanic healers and curanderas of the Sierra Madre, Chihuahua, Mexico. Trained in the shamanic traditions of her grandmother and her father, she is a direct descendent of the Toltec tradition. Maria Teresa possesses a wealth of knowledge in Meso-American wisdom, myths, and indigenous medicine. As a Healer in the tradition of Sacred Medicinal Plants, she has worked with shamans in Mexico, Peru and Ecuador, as well as with indigenous elders from the Mayan culture of Guatemala. In her position as a spiritual teacher of prophecy, she speaks on the transformation of consciousness as we approach the "Great Shift" that is prophesized by many ancient peoples, including the Mayan culture, as reaching a culmination in the year 2012.
This is a free event. Tickets can be obtained by pre-registering for the Mind & Supermind lecture series. Pre-register at the Schott Center and Wake Center. Or if you prefer, you may register at the door on the evening as space permits. Admission is on a first come basis.
