Event Description
The Global Exchange Ventura County Supporters present an evening with Haco Hoang, Phd, Professor of Political Science and Director of International Studies at California Lutheran University Thousand Oaks as he speaks about China's Role in the World and How it Affects You/United States.
Dr. Haco Hoang holds a PhD in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations from Boston University and was a Fulbright Scholar at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies in Singapore.
Dr. Hoang has taught courses on international relations, global studies, terrorism in world history, ethnic conflict and genocide, public policy and women in politics. She has also worked as a policy consultant on projects related to female gangs, youth civic engagement, and neighborhood councils for the City of Los Angeles.
The program is free and open to the public.
