Festival of Scholars Poetry Reading

Event Description

California Lutheran University will host a Festival of Scholars Poetry Reading in honor of National Poetry Month. CLU publications “Morning Glory” and “The Word,” students and faculty will read selections from both journals in an open mike format. “Morning Glory” is a 37-year-old literary arts magazine that has received 25 All American Awards from the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) and is a member of the ACP Hall of Fame. “The Word” is a two-year-old multicultural artistic journal. Both publications feature contributions from students, faculty, staff and alumni.

CLU’s Literary Society, Multicultural and International Programs and Pearson Library are sponsoring the free Poetry Reading, which is open to the public.
