Event Description
The UCSB Music Department presents the ECM Ensemble for Contemporary Music. The ECM will performs "Mystics and Machines" with Morton Feldman's work on the Jewish mystic Rabbi Akiba for soprano (Katherine Saxon), and chamber ensemble; faculty composer Joel Feigin's new work for contralto (Victoria Hart), piano and percussion titled An empty boat, floating adrift: Five Poems of Tu Fu, and Carlos Chavez' mechanistic piece for nine, Energia, led by Director Jeremy Haladyna
