Event Description
The Buenaventura Art Gallery presents Steve Cooks's Riding the Planet exhibit at the Harbor Village Gallery. An artists opening reception will be held on March 7th.
This collection of new and recent paintings depict our beautiful California landscape, ocean life, and culture and vintage machinery that are depicted through the eyes, brushes and palette of the artists. Cook's urban scenes of sometimes decaying, manmade objects combined with rural landscapes speak to a time that is both contemporary and nostalgic.
The exhibit will be on display until March 30, 2008
