Event Description
Nancy R. Brandt Auxiliary of the Assistance League Ventura County presents "Come Travel With Us" a presentation with Ed and Marguerite Webster as they recount their experiences on the Continent with cat Felicia, as told in their book, A Year of Sundays. There will also be a silent auction, boutique, luncheon, car show, fashion show, and classical guitar music by Carlos Gonzales.
All proceeds to benefit the following programs that the Nancy R. Brandt Auxiliary supports:
Assistance League School – A preschool for children with special needs.
Operation School Bell®- Provides school uniforms to underprivileged children.
Girls Club/Teen Club – A year round safe haven for young girls and teens.
Assault Survivor Kits®- In coordination with the Safe Harbor Program.
B.U.F.F.Y. Bear – Provides cuddly bears to children, in coordination with the Ventura County District Attorney Victims Services.
