Event Description
The University of California Hansen Agricultural Center will offer professional development for school garden educators, teachers, school administrators, parents, and volunteers. The center will host—Creating and Sustaining Your School Garden Workshop and Junior Master Gardener (JMG) Showcase.
Guest presenters are Certified Master Gardeners specializing in school gardens and the JMG Program Statewide Coordinator. Participants will share ideas for designing and using educational school gardens; practice basic gardening skills; learn tips for effective outdoor classroom management; discover local resources available through the University of California Cooperative Extension.

Space is limited.
Ventura Master Gardeners will also host a plant sale, house and garden tours, open to public no reservation necessary for these activities.
