The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza presents a tribute to Glenn Miller and Fabulous Dorsey Brothers, featuring the Tex Beneke Orchestra.
The show stars renowned Academy and Grammy Award winner Debby Boone, along with the Pied Pipers and String of Pearls. The 15-piece Tex Beneke Orchestra will compliment the vocalists in a dazzling showcase of Big Band classics from Glenn Miller’s “In the Mood,” “Little Brown Jug” and “Tuxedo Junction” to the Dorsey Brothers’ “Marie,” “So Rare” and “Green Eyes.”
Debby Boone will perform her Reflections of Rosemary tribute to her mother-in-law, Rosemary Clooney, a woman for whom Debby had great love and respect. Debby earned instant fame in 1977 with “You Light Up My Life”.
Single tickets are $35 and 45 with group and season discounts available. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster or the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Box Office.
