Event Description
The American Red Cross of Ventura County Youth Services Clubs will provide free safety training to 3RD, 4TH and 5TH grade students.
Members of clubs at Westlake and Oak Park High Schools will offer training in basic first aid, rescue breathing, water safety, fire safety and safe wheels skills.
Safe Kids Day provides a unique opportunity for elementary school children to interact with high school students. In past years, participants have found learning basic safety skills in this kind of environment to be very rewarding. Safe Kids Day training is hosted by the American Red Cross of Ventura County and made possible by generous donations from the community. To reserve a place, please call or e-mail the phone number or email provided. Snacks will be provided. Walk-ins welcome.
