Bill Frisell is a revered figure among musicians and one the most sought-after guitarists around. Voted Down Beat's Guitarist of the Year for four years running, he was awarded a Grammy for his 2005 release Unspeakable. Mixing rock and country with jazz and blues, he's found what connects them: improvisation and a sense of play. His engagingly droll sense of humor is never far from the surface. He'll play with drummer Joey Baron.
