Event Description
The City of Santa Barbara and Dance Santa Barbara presents their weekly Saturday night Dance.
The Twilight Dance
5-8pm
Come early and stay late. Admission includes both the twilight and evening dances plus one or two lessons. The early set includes live trios performing traditional ballroom dance music twice a month, hosting by world champion ballroom dancer Nigel Clarke once a month and a west coast swing theme on the first Saturdays.
Dance Lesson
8-9pm
Leslie Sack, Bill Elmer, and Brian & Fay will provide professional dance instruction while the evening band sets up. Here's a chance to learn new dances and improve on those you know already. The lesson will tie into the evening dance so you'll be able to practice what you just learned.
The Evening Dance
9pm-Midnight
An entirely new set of musicians will entertain you the second half of the program. Eventually, a different band will provide music each Saturday. These bands will have their own distinct sound for social dancing.
Admission: $15/$12 for seniors and students.
