Event Description
During the month of September, the Annual National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month recognizes the work and progress made towards recovery. A conference is also held each year to educate the public and others. The conference this year focuses on the significant cost of substance abuse on family relationships. The use of drugs and alcohol can be both a trigger to family violence as well as a coping response to violence in the home. To attend, or for more information, visit the web site.
