Event Description

The Santa Paula Family Resource Center presents Living Under the Trees - Indigenous Mexican Farm Workers in California.

Recent work by award winning journalist and documentary photographer, David Beaocn will be on display. The exhibit highlights the difficult issues that are critical to California's indigeneous Mexican Farm Worker. The exhibit is a thoughtful series of photos and oral history narratives that explores the unique challenges these indigenous cocmmunities face, while also celebrating the culture and community spirit that sustains them.

Opening reception to be held September 16th at 6:30pm. The exhibit will run from September 2, 2008 through October 3rd, 2008. The gallery will be open Monday thru Friday 9AM to 5PM.
