10 Questions for the Dalai Lama, directed by Ventura’s own Rick Ray, will be the highlight of three local events out of the150 across the nation over the course of one weekend.
Timed to coincide with His Holiness’ upcoming visit to the US and Canada, and in honor of his Peace works a nationwide Weekend of Unity & Peace with award-winning film 10 Questions for the Dalai Lama has been organized.
October 19 - 21, 2007 is designated as a weekend of individual events designed to bring our communities together in a celebration of understanding, unity, tolerance, peace, and oneness.
The weekend celebration of screenings and events begin at The Ventura Center for Spiritual Living, Hope Dance in Oxnard and at The First Neighborhood Community Center in Westlake Village. In addition to other activities, the event will include a presentation by LA Friends of Tibet President Tseten Phanucharas. A screening of the award-winning film “10 Questions for the Dalai Lama” will begin at 4:00pm followed by a Q&A with the film’s Director.
