Event Description
An assistant managing editor of The Washington Post, Rajiv Chandrasekaran was a bureau chief in Baghdad from 2003-04, spending more time on the ground in Iraq than any other journalist. His award-winning book Imperial Life in the Emerald City is a first-hand account of life in the Green Zone, a walled off enclave that includes posh villas and sparkling swimming pools and is the American headquarters for the occupation.
