Event Description
Oak View Civic Council and VFW present The Oak View Memorial Day Parade.
The Oak View Memorial Day parade begins at Park Ave, turns on Old Ventura Avenue. Trophies will be presented and free ice cream will be available at Longhorn Supply after 10:30 AM.
Entries are being sought for the following categories:
(1)float, musical, vehicle; (2) horses; (3) marching or walking; or (4) other. The non-refundable entry fee is only $10 (waived for schools). The event flyer and entry applications that are due by May 19, are at: “It’s All About Me” (behind OV Rabobank); Oak View Shell
Oak View American Legion Post No. 686 will host a pancake breakfast at 8:00, located on Old Ventura Avenue and after the Oak View events, all participants and citizens of Ojai Valley are invited to attend the Memorial Day celebration in Libbey Park in Ojai from 11:00 to 2:30.
