Focus on the Masters features Tuesday Talk series, public speaking engagements featuring the works and lives of accomplished contemporary artists.
August 5: An evening with Cassandra Jones
Photographer who has transformed a fascination with sports images into a new visual language that captures energy and anticipation.
September 2: An evening with Robert G. Smith
Traditional photographer, longtime Brooks Institute Faculty member, whose work captures unexpected abstractions.
October 7: An evening with Bill McEwen
Sculptor known for his experimental 3-dimensional art objects based on observations of relationships to time and space in nature.
November 4: An evening with Kathy Waggoner
Ceramist who creates imagery that explores the physical manifestations of emotion and human behavior.
Focus on the Masters (FOTM) is a non-profit art appreciation program that documents, preserves and presents the works and lives of accomplished contemporary artists.
