Event Description
Vita Art Center presents a Musical Instrument Construction of Clay Wind Instruments workshop for adults.
This workshop is designed for ceramic artists, it is not necessary to be a musician. We will learn the basic principles of sound and explore its qualities and endless possibilities by making some of the instruments used in Mexico during pre-Hispanic times. We will make; whistles, flutes and ocarinas. NOTE: Ceramists are asked to bring their own tools and clay. Ceramists are also responsible for firing their pieces; we do not provide a kiln.

$100. Materials included in fee.
Pre-Registration is required. Early registration is suggested the class is limited to 10 students. You may register online or by phone.
