UCSB Arts and Lectures presents an evening with James Q. Wilson.
Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient James Q. Wilson is also a former President of the American Political Science Association, former Shattuck Professor of Government at Harvard, and Collins Professor of Management and Public Policy at UCLA. He is co-editor of the newly-released book Understanding America – The Anatomy of an Exceptional Nation, a collection of essays by some of the nation’s top scholars that outlines the current state of American institutions and policies – from the legal system to marriage to the military – and anticipates where these are headed in the future.
Books will be available for purchase and signing. This event is free.
