Event Description
Music Academy of the West presents the 2008 Summer Festival running from June 23-August 16. Seniors and students qualify for $11 tickets to Instrumental Masterclasses and $14 tickets to Vocal Masterclasses. Groups of 20 or more are invited to take advantage of special rates for many events.

Music Director of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra since 2004, Peter Oundjian is a major presence in the orchestral world. His program for the final Summer Festival concert will bring together Academy instrumental and voice Fellows with a community women’s chorus and children’s choir for Mahler’s ambitious 1895 effort to “mirror the whole world.”
