Twelve visionary thinkers from around the world will be addressing how we can meet our responsibilities to future generations on critical issues of survival, sustainability and justice. The group reads like an international all-star line-up of social innovation:
David Krieger, President, Nuclear Age Peace Foundation. Hon. Arthur Robinson, Former President Trinidad & Tobago. Dr. Rama Mani, International security policy expert, CEO International Center for Ethical Studies. Prof. Marie-Claire Cordonier Segger, Leading Lawyer in Sustainable Rights. Judge C.G. Weeramantry, former Vice President of the International Court of Justice. Prof. Stephen Marglin, Economist, Harvard University. Bianca Jagger, Human Rights Activist. Dr. Scilla Elworthy, Founder, Oxford Research Group (ORG). Prof. Hans Peter Dürr, Nuclear Physicist and Philosopher. Count Hans von Sponeck, Former UN Assistant Secretary General. Jakob von Uexküll, Founder, Right Livelihood Award and World Future Council. Ernst von Weizsacker, Dean of the Donald Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, UCSB.
All twelve of these thinkers are members of the World Future Council.
