The Simi Valley Senior Center presents a Baby Boomer's Night off!
Baby Boomers or Baby Boomer wanna be’s are all welcome! Baby boomers were born between 1946-1964.
Enjoy a night out with people you grew up with! Share laughs and musical memories with Simi Valley’s most talented performers! Bob Ridley, also known as “That Boomer Guy” will take center stage and complain as loudly as you about getting older. He has been a comic and comedy writer for over 25 years. You have heard his jokes from comedians who include Rodney Dangerfield, Henny Youngman, Sammy Petrillo and Norm Cosby. Joining him will be Nancy Wright and Marcia O’Brien. Nancy, President of the Simi Valley Drama Club, will showcase her vocals in fabulous tunes from the 60’s and 70’s. Marcia is well known though out southern California as a popular sought after singer. Both will pay tribute in song to the music groups of our youth. Songs will also feature veteran pop guitarists Rick Vannelli and Dick Wells. Refreshments will be provided.
