Event Description
The Oxnard Public Library presents the LA Opera Talks speaker series.
March 29 - Behind the Scenes in Opera - Professional dancer Leslie Stevens will speak about her performing experience with LA Opera. She has appearted in 11 LA Opera productions since the year 2000.
April 12- Puccini's Tosca - A speaker from the LA Opera Speakers Bureau will introduce the audience to Giacomo Puccini's action packed psychological thriller about a tragic love triangle.
May 24 - Puccini's La Rondine - A speaker from the LA Opera Speakers Bureau will discuss Giacomo Puccini's elegant and poignant opera about a worldly woman who falls in love with a younger man.
June 7 - LA Opera Concert - LA Opera artists will performa a 50 minute musical program in honor of the staff, patrons and members that supported the LA Opera Talks series.
