Heavy Traffic Expected For California Coast During Labor Day Weekend

This could be a rough evening on our highways, as experts say more Southern Californians will be traveling Labor Day weekend than we’ve seen since 2008, and many are headed in our direction.

Nearly two million people are expected to hit the road.

The Automobile Club of Southern California says San Diego, San Francisco, and Las Vegas are the top three destinations, but the Central Coast is fourth.

Auto Club officials say the recent drop in gas prices is fueling more people to hit the road for the three day weekend.
