Ventura County To Hire Dozens Of Additional Social Workers To Help Deal With Spike In Child Abuse, Neglect Cases

Ventura County officials say they don’t have the staff to cope with a massive spike in the number of child abuse, and neglect cases being reported.

Today, County Supervisors approved a plan to hired dozens of additional social workers, to try to deal with the increased case load.
