Ventura County’s Acting Auditor-Controller Now Officially Has The Job

A man who’s been serving as Ventura County’s acting Auditor-Controller since April of 2013, and was just elected to the post in June, now officially has the job.

Ventura County Supervisors voted to appoint Jeffery Burgh to the post.

He wasn’t officially supposed to take over the post until January 5th, but supervisors decided it make sense for him to have the title early, since he’s doing the job already.

Burgh fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Christine Cohen last year.
