The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History is closed today, as the result of a traffic accident which knocked out power to the facility.
A car smashed into a power pole at around 11:30 last night. No one was seriously injured.
Southern California Edison crews have been on scene all day replacing the pole. The Museum is hoping to be open for business as usual tomorrow, and officials say one of its major annual fundraisers, the Santa Barbara Wine Festival, will take place this weekend as planned.
