The Central Coast’s famous surfing goats will be able to keep their home.
The Pismo Beach City Council gave preliminary approval to an ordinance allowing residents to keep up to four goats on their property.
Pismo Beach resident Dana McGregor had gone to the city asking for goats to be included in ordinance which already allow other animals like horses, and sheep on their property.
McGregor has three goats which have become a online sensation because they surf with him.
He’s been cited in the past for allowing the goats to graze in the city.
The new ordinance, which is expected to get final approval next month, does require the goats to be leashed if they are in city parks.
