An airline serving Santa Barbara County is upgrading its serve to and from the region, by replacing a number of its turboprop plane flights with jets.
United Airlines is now using 50 seat passenger jets for its six times a day Santa Barbara to Los Angeles service. Two of United’s nine daily flights from Santa Barbara to San Francisco have also been upgraded from turboprop, to jet service. The jets are larger, and quieter than the prop planes.
United has non-stop service from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Denver.
