One San Luis Obispo County Supervisorial Seat Settled Outright; Second Set For November Runoff

San Luis Obispo County Supervisor Bruce Gibson easily retained his Second District supervisorial seat in the June 3rd election, but there will be a runoff for the Fourth District seat.

Gibson defeated Muril Clift by a 67%, to 33% margin.  In the Fourth District, Lynn Compton will face Karen Ray in November.  Compton received 46% of the vote, Ray 43%, and Mike Byrd 11%.

In the race for District Attorney, Dan Dow defeated Mike Covello by a 53% to 45% margin.

San Luis Obispo County voters narrowed the field for County Clerk-Recorder.  Tommy Gong and Amanda King earned spots on the November ballot, with Gong getting 46% of the vote, and King 44%, while Ann Danko received 10%.
