Police say they’ve nabbed some livestock rustlers on the Central Coast in an unlikely place, with an unlikely target.
Cal Poly Police say they received a report Tuesday morning that a sheep had been stolen from one of the university’s livestock areas. Officers conducted an investigation, and were able to track down the stolen animal to a San Luis Obispo apartment complex.
Police arrested four young men who identified themselves as Cuesta College students.
The four were booked on felony grand theft of livestock charges.
