A man wanted for the 2012 murder of his girlfriend on the Central Coast is back in the U.S. from Mexico to stand trial, after a nearly year long extradition process.
Selina Bustos was stabbed to death in June of 2012 in a home on the 1000 block of North 6th Street, in Lompoc. Lompoc Police identified her boyfriend, Eduardo Robles, as the suspect in the killing. The 25 year old man fled the country, but investigators tracked him to Mexico, where he was arrested by Mexican authorities last April.
After a lengthy extradition process, he was returned to the United States this week for prosecution.
