Work to build a roundabout at a major highway intersection on the Central Coast is going to mean some new traffic detours starting later this week.
The roundabout is under construction at the intersection of Highways 154, and 246 in the Santa Ynez Valley. Starting Thursday, motorists will detour through part of the partially completed project, and will have to go through a three way stop. It could mean some traffic delays through the area.
The $3.3 million dollar roundabout project is expected to be completed this coming October.
