Ventura Man Among Four Arrested In Connection With What Authorities Call Significant Drug Dealing Operation

A Ventura man is among four people who were arrested in connection with what authorities are calling a large scale methamphetamine dealing operation.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Department narcotics detectives say they had been receiving information for months about drug dealing out of a home in Ventura.  They set up a surveillance operation on the home, on the 200 block of Leighton Street, ands ay that after observing a drug deal, staged a raid.

Stewart Wesley Reid was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and heroin for sale.  More than six pounds of methamphetamine, and a pound and a half of heroin was seized, as was nearly $200,000 in cash.  Three other men were also arrested on various charges related to drug dealing.
