Homeless Man Arrested In Santa Barbara Following Allegations Of Sexual Assault On Teen

Posted on Thursday, March 27, 2014 11:05am

A homeless man has been identified, and arrested for a sexual assault with the help of KCLU, and KEYT Television reporter John Palminteri.

Santa Barbara Police say that on March 19th, a 15 year old girl had gone with a group of people to a party on Santa Barbara’s Westside.  She became intoxicated, and investigators say she was later raped.

The victim identified her attacker as a homeless man known as “Slim” with a number of distinctive tattoos.  He had appeared in a television story with Palminteri on March 19th, the same day as the incident, and identified himself as “Slim.”

Police issued an arrest warrant, and Domonick Alonzo Love of Santa Barbara was arrested by a Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputy who spotted him in Santa Ynez on Monday.  The 18 year old man is facing three sexual assault charges.
