What started with a man barricading himself in a Central Coast home, and firing some shotgun blasts ended peacefully nine hours later.
It started about 4 p.m. yesterday, on the 900 block of Hanford Street in Pismo Beach. Police say a man called 911 threatening suicide. When officers arrived, they say the man fired several shots inside the home, and threatened to shoot anyone who approached the house.
Officers evacuated the area, and after nine hours of negotiations, the 25 year old man surrendered early this morning. No one was hurt.
